LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

WHAT WE COVER

Sandy’s Furniture warrants its products free of any manufacturing defects for a set period of time. This warranty is only available to the original purchaser whom holds the original proof of purchase. The Proof of purchase is the original bill of sales, which will indicate the name of the original buyer, original date of purchase and all of the product numbers and specifications.

Proper maintenance, including routine cleaning, replacement of worn glides, lubrication of mechanical parts and removal of products in severe weather such as high winds or extreme climates is the sole responsibility of the owner and is required to keep warranty in effect.

Please follow Sandy’s Furniture Care & Cleaning directions. Maximum liability is the purchase price of the failed item(s) in the form of a credit to replace or purchase new product(s).

Sandy’s Furniture warranties start upon the date of shipment.

WHAT WE DO NOT COVER

Sandy’s Furniture will not warrant or cover damage resulting from the following:

Failure of all frames and/or welds resulting from abusive or unreasonable use.

Failure of all frames and/or welds caused by neglect or lack of maintenance.

Normal wear and tear resulting in discoloration, fading, stretches on finish, pulling/tearing of fabrics.

Stretching of sling, fabrics, upholstery from normal use and wear.

Discoloring or stains from sun tanning lotions/oils and/or any contact from any chemicals including but not limited to cleaning agents or pool chemicals and sprinkler systems. (see proper care & cleaning instructions on our website)

Acts of god or acts of nature including fire, wind, flood and freeze damage.

Any repairs or modifications done by anyone outside of Sandy’s Furniture voids the warranty on products produced and sold by Sandy’s Furniture. Sandy’s Furniture does not offer any additional warranty on any products outside of these stated warranties. No additional coverage is express or implied, written or orally contracted regarding any warranty of products, title, or fitness of any particular purpose.

WIND DAMAGE

Wind ratings do not form part of, nor fall under, any of Sandy’s Furniture and Design warranties. Wind ratings are intended as a guide to the relative strength of the umbrellas only and tested at their optimal positions. Umbrellas with any degree of tilt added should not follow any wind ratings. Wind can be extremely variable, depending on the surroundings, elevation, gusts, etc. In high wind or sudden extreme weather conditions, all umbrellas should be closed and secured immediately, regardless of size, weight, or base weight and never be left unattended or tilted in the open position. Sandy’s Furniture will not be held responsible for damage to your umbrella, furniture, or property.

Powder Coat Finishes – Chipping, Fading and Peeling – 3 Year Warranty

Vinyl Straps – Breakage Only (Discoloration not covered) – 5 Year Warranty

Woven Products – Manufactures Defects – 3 Year Warranty

Sling, Cushions & Fabrics – Tearing, Discoloration or Fading (Sag & sag recovery is not covered by this warranty) – 1 Year Warranty

Umbrellas and Bases – 1 Year Warranty

5-YEAR UMBRELLA FRAME WARRANTY

Sandy’s Furniture warrants the crank and auto tilt mechanisms in the Harbor Luxe umbrellas for a period of 5 years from the original date of purchase. This warranty includes manufacturer defects of crank handles, crank axles, auto tilts, push-button tilts, and para-cord. Sandy’s Furniture warrants the frame structure of the Harbor Luxe, Harbor Luxe Max, Regatta, Regatta Max and NorthStar collections for a period of 5 years from the original date of purchase. This warranty includes manufacturer defects to the notch, runner, center pole, and skeleton structure. This warranty does not include damages sustained to these umbrellas if operated improperly, while in any degree of tilt, or if left unattended.

SERVICE HUT WARRANTY

1 Year Limited Warranty

For a period of Two (2) years after date of purchase, the Manufacturer will either repair or replace defective components in accordance with this Limited Warranty. This warranty is between the Manufacturer and the original purchaser and is valid only when accompanied by the original purchaser’s sales receipt showing original date of purchase and location of purchase. Replacements under this warranty revert back to the date of original purchase for future warranty.

The Manufacturer or its authorized dealer can accept or reject warranty claims based on its findings. The Manufacturer can make substitutions as required of materials, components, and subcomponents of comparable value and utility. This warranty is limited to product repair or replacement (to be determined solely by the Manufacturer). Warranty return is limited to only the single affected component. This limited warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover normal wear and tear, damage due to acts of nature (such as, but not limited to freezing or high winds), abuse or misuse, including chemical damage from suntan oil or other chemicals, exposure to extreme heat or cold, abrasion or excessive weight. This product is intended to be used in standard installations only. This warranty is void if the product is not used for its intended purpose. The Manufacturer disclaims liability for any aspect of installation and any inconvenience caused by a defective part of a component. Certain items are not covered by this warranty.

These include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Components subjected to abuse, including abuse intended to simulate failure.

2. Damages caused by retailer, shipper or installation crew (such as scratches, dents, tears, chips, etc.).

3. Any part which merely exhibits normal wear yet functions essentially as new, including chips, or scratches .

4. Tears, punctures, scratches or any damage caused by improper installation or use.

HOW TO USE YOUR WARRANTY

Sandy’s Furniture must and will always review any and all claims for warranty service. Upon its own review, Sandy’s Furniture may repair or replace products or provide replacement parts for products listed on a warranty claim. This will be done at Sandy’s Furniture discretion. Any and all replacements will carry the original remaining warranty period.

Sandy’s Furniture will provide a return authorization number and instructions only after a warranty claim is approved. Sandy’s Furniture will only pay for charges pertaining to shipping, transportation, repair, or replacement of products still under warranty if agreed upon before review of the warranty claim.

If manufacturing defects are found on any products purchased from Sandy’s Furniture, then digital photos must be emailed to Sandy’s Furniture Warranty Department with a written description of the defect and any related information as to how defects could have occurred. All judgments regarding defective items will come from the Warranty Department and no items will be accepted without prior written approval from Sandy’s Furniture.

Once Sandy’s Furniture sends a return authorization number, return the product(s) to the care of Sandy’s Furniture Warranty Department. Write the return authorization number prominently on the outside of the original packaging or equivalent. A copy of your dated invoice is required, please place this copy within the packaging.
